Oscaloose WOWF Poster

A short summary of the problem you’re trying to address:
Oscaloose awareness is at an all-time low. In order to improve awareness, I'm targeting the youth of today.
The designed poster is created with fun outstanding colors to draw in the attention of children and onlookers. The goal is not primarily to provide a wealth of oscaloose interest, but rather to create awareness and illicit feelings of duty to protect the cute creature with simple action items at the bottom of the poster.

- 1. Identify an oscaloose' from key visual characteristics.
- Take basic sustainability steps to protect the oscaloose' environment
- Be able to inform others of oscaloose facts that may pique interest
- Audience characteristics
- Target Audience: Children and teens agest 5-18
- Audience Selection Rationale: Audience is easily accessible via classrooms and other youth wildlife programs. Audience is also most likely to become attached to preservation of a unique wild animal in their area, as the oscaloose does not provide obvious benefit or agricultural advantage to the
- Specific LX considerations for this audience:
- Font kept as basic sans-serif and large.
- Reduced to key terms and ideas.
- Primarily monochromatic color scheme selected to focus on contrast and colorblind friendliness.
- English used as the primary language spoken in the area. A Spanish version of the poster would be next

- Extra credit:
- Outline of an evaluation plan for the solution—Classroom surveys evaluating basic oscaloose knowledge and awareness of sustainability techniques and oscaloose initiatives involving young children appearing or not would be indicative of success (although the secondary evaluation plan would require more fleshing out and be less relabile for this particular approach)
